The front end half of a two-repository exercise in getting a small application onto AWS. This side is a React client covering the full blogging loop — register, sign in, write a post, read the feed — talking to a separate Express API deployed on AWS.

Authentication state is held in a React context and the API surface is confined to a single service module, so swapping the backend endpoint never touched the component tree.

Key Features:

  • Registration and login against a remote API
  • Authentication state shared through React context
  • Post creation form with a rendered feed and detail view
  • Single API service module isolating all network calls
  • Component library built on shadcn/ui primitives

Tech Stack:

  • Frontend: React, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind CSS
  • UI: shadcn/ui, Radix UI
  • Backend: Express on AWS
